Linkedin is a business and employment-oriented social networking service that operates via websites. Founded on December 14, 2002, and launched on May 5, 2003, it is mainly used for professional networking, including employers posting jobs and job seekers posting their CVs.
An overwhelming majority (84.4 percent) have a free LinkedIn account. Only 15.1 percent pay for a premium account. The other 0.5 percent aren't sure which they use.
